Animation camp:
A week of fun-filled drawing starts here! In this exciting camp, students will learn how to create their own small animations. They will discover how animation is made and how cartoons around the world come to life.

Students Will Learn:

• How to use programs like Adobe Animate and other digital art software
  
  

• The 12 Principles of Animation and how to apply them to small projects
  
  

• How to animate a bouncing ball
  
  

• How to animate a character walk cycle
  
  

• How to create fun, short animated GIFs
  
  

• How to draw and design their own original character for a cartoon short
  
  

• How to analyze shows they watch and video games they play
  
  

• How to use books and reference materials to better understand animation
  
  

IMPORTANT: This camp requires long hours of drawing. Students will create many images to produce an animation that is fun and appealing.
